Latest Beauty Buys

April 17, 2018

First thing's first, I'm 100% not a beauty blogger. I literally have the least amount of beauty products ever. In my bathroom I have one drawer for make up and one drawer for skincare, that's it, they aren't big drawers either. I just believe you should be using every product in your bathroom, otherwise why is it there taking up space? Anyway, so these are my latest beauty buys!

1. Estée Lauder: Day Wear 24-hour Moisture Cream SPF 15 (Sample)

I find some moisturisers are quite heavy and uncomfortable so I end up avoiding them at night but this one is reasonably light so I don't mind wearing it night and day. With winter coming up I wanted to find one just like this so I think I'll buy a full sized one to keep my skin hydrated in the colder months!

2. Estée Lauder: Advanced Night Repair Eye (Sample)

I work some long days, I hate my eyes looking puffy and tired, so I usually use an eye cream. There's a lot of anti-ageing eye creams out there but finding a good hydrating eye cream has been a bit tough. They are also usually quite expensive so I just got a little sample pack thing and we'll see. I've only been using this one for a week or two so we'll see how it goes in the long run!

3. Estée Lauder: Advanced Night Micro Cleansing Foam

I've only used it 3-4 times so I haven't fully made my mind up on this product, but so far so good. I'll let you know how it goes after using it for a month!

4.  Estée Lauder: Double Wear Stay-In-Place Make Up (SPF 10)

Holy Shit, this is an amazing product. I put up a post on instagram asking for a few recommendations; I got about 20-30 recommendations and over 50% were for this product. I went into Myer, got colour matched and had a chat to the most lovely lady who worked there and tried out a sample for 2 weeks. I loved it! I work quite long days, I'll leave the house at 7am and not be home until 9:30/10pm and it lasts the whole day! I'll often go from work to an event to netball/gym and it's lasting the entire time! It's really light and it doesn't feel like I'm wearing much make up, so it's just really comfortable! Highly recommended.

5. Bobbi Brown: Retouching Wand (Light to Medium)

I have so much pigmentation on my face, ugh, it's horrible. Concealer is my best friend. Literally, I have to wear it every single day. I've found this product is really good for under my eyes, it just blends in really well and looks pretty natural, I don't like products that make it look like your wearing heavy make up, ugh! So yea, I've been using this product everyday and it's going really well.

6. Estée Lauder: The Brow Multi-taker (3 in 1)

I have super dark eye brows, but they aren't quite black so finding a colour match is quite a challenge. The darkest shade in The Estée Lauder: The Brow Multi-taker range worked really well for me. It comes with a pencil, a powder and a brush and is pretty affordable (it was less than $50). Highly recommended if their colour selection is a match for you!
